THE ART OF BODY PAINTING – BODY PAINTINGS THAT EVEN MADE OUR JAWS DROP

DESERT PANORAMA

This woman transforms her body into a canvas to depict the breathtaking beauty of the desert, painting sand dunes and an oasis. Her work features camels moving towards the water. In the desert, camels are commonly used as a means of transportation and play a vital role in the lives of Bedouin nomads.

Camels have the ability to store fat in their humps, which efficiently regulates their body temperature. This adaptation allows them to endure both extreme heat and cold nights. Due to their size, they can also carry larger loads, up to 300 pounds.

CHILL OF THE NIGHT

This image showcases a different side of scenic beauty: an icy and cold environment. While many associate the term “desert” with hot, sandy areas, picturing dunes and pyramids, the term can also apply to colder places.

By definition, a desert is a dry, sparsely vegetated region. Cold deserts also exist worldwide, such as the Katpana Desert in Skardu, Pakistan. A well-known cold desert is the Gobi Desert, stretching across China and Mongolia, and recognized as the sixth-largest desert in the world.
