SEX PISTOLS – GOD SAVE THE QUEEN: $31,420 (£24,320)
The original A&M Records pressing of the Sex Pistols’ God Save The Queen single is one of the rarest punk collectibles. Withdrawn shortly after release due to controversy and the label dropping the band, only around 13 to 20 copies are believed to remain.
In 2023, one of these scarce A&M copies sold for an astonishing $31,420 (£24,320). By comparison, the later Virgin Records release, which signed the band, is far more common and worth up to $3,600 (£2,786), with the South African edition fetching the highest prices among those.

FRANK WILSON – DO I LOVE YOU (INDEED I DO): $39,294 (£25,742)
The Northern Soul scene, born in Northern England and the Midlands in the early 1970s, celebrates rare, upbeat American soul records. Collectors eagerly pay sky-high prices for the most elusive singles and albums from this era.
Among the most prized is Frank Wilson’s unreleased 1965 single Do I Love You (Indeed I Do), which holds the Guinness World Record for the most expensive single sold at auction. In 2009, this rare Tamla Motown gem fetched an incredible $39,295 (£25,742).
