Fabulous Kangaroos

The Fabulous Kangaroos have a legacy that runs from 1957 to 1992 (in 1992 Al Snow would be a Fabulous Kangaroo). The Kanagroos have had several versions throughout their history. One version of the Fabulous Kangaroos held WWE tag team gold for over one year. Yet, the 1970s version mostly consisted of Al Costello and Don Kent (version number 3 of the kangaroos).

In the early 70s, Costello and Kent became popular by participating in celebrity baseball games. The Kangaroos would win multiple tag team championships in the 1970s but are best known for adding entertainment to their professional wrestling matches. The Kangaroos were one of the most popular tag teams of the 1970s.

Haiti Kid

The 1970s were a different time in professional wrestling history. During the 70s, little people wrestling would be a huge draw on most promotion's cards. Referred to midget wrestling at the time, the audience enjoyed the smaller star's matches. Debuting as a babyface in 1971, Haiti Kid would become a legendary wrestler, no matter his size.

Haiti Kid would wrestle all over North America in the 1970s. He would perform in the AWA, Stampede, Florida Championship Wrestling and many other promotions, Haiti Kid's biggest main stream attention would occur in 1986, when he was in the corner of Mr. T at WrestleMania 2.
