PETER PARKER HAS COMPETITION
Before superhero enthusiasts claim there’s no Spider-Woman, they might want to check out the comics. In the comic books, a Spider-Woman definitely exists, and the name is used by several women in the Marvel Comics Universe. The first Spider-Woman was Jessica Drew, a woman whose father injected her with a serum made with spider blood to save her life.
Julia Carpenter also took on the role of Spider-Woman, while Gwen Stacy assumed this position in an alternate universe. Given the popularity of the “Spider-Man” comics, the creators were concerned that someone might steal their idea and create a Spider-Woman. Therefore, they decided to protect their interests by introducing a Spider-Woman themselves.

THE FIRST SIN
In biblical accounts, Eve tasted the forbidden fruit, tempted by Satan in the guise of a serpent. This led to the expulsion of Eve and Adam from Paradise. This painting depicts the scene where a snake is traversing the woman’s body and legs as she reaches for the apple on her chest.
This event has long been depicted in art, such as in Peter Paul Rubens’ painting “The Fall of Man.” Depictions also exist in the Catacombs of Marcellinus and Peter in Rome. This scene inspired John Milton to write an epic poem and Mark Twain to pen humorous diaries.
