Orfeón Cinema

In 1938, one of the most luxurious and modern cinemas in Mexico City, the Orfeón, was inaugurated, located on Luis Moya Street in the Historic Center.

Once the site of numerous lavish premieres during the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema, the venue has been abandoned for decades, despite several attempts to restore it. Local residents maintain its exterior relatively clean.

The Wave

The water park that accompanied Atlantis for a couple of years, La Ola was also in the Chapultepec forest and had several pools, one of which was very famous, and several slides and a children's play area.

The Wave suffered the same fate as Atlantis and by the mid-1990s it had already closed its doors, never to open its taps of water and fun again.
